Reports to: Senior Security Officer
About the role
To support maintenance of a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, clients, property, and hospital assets by implementing security procedures, monitoring access and activities, responding to security incidents, and reporting security concerns in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Security in Management of the Security at the Institute
- In charge of day-to-day running of security matters in the Hospital
- Participate in planning, monitoring and evaluation of security matters in the Unit
- Ensure safety of Hospital properties, vehicle and estates
- Prepare security reports.
- Manage and account for allocated resources
Requirements
- A Diploma in any field from recognised institution.
- Must have had police training or training in security discipline from a recognised institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a reputable organisation as security personnel.
